Volleyball Game Preview: Geneva Panthers vs. Penn Yan Academy Mustangs

The Geneva Panthers will challenge the Penn Yan Academy Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Geneva came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Bloomfield, falling 3-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Bombers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Penn Yan Academy lost 3-0 to Wayne on Wednesday.

Penn Yan Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Geneva, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Geneva took their win against Penn Yan Academy in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
