Basketball Recap: Leland Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Leland waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 63-45 win over the Evergreen Valley Cougars. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Leland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mattia Nucci, who went 7-for-11 to rack up 18 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Thanks to that strong game, Nucci now owns an excellent 46.6% field goal percentage. Cyrus Zhao was another key player, as he made all 6 shots he took racking up 14 points and five assists.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Leland was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January.

Leland's record now sits at 5-1. As for Evergreen Valley, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 5-1.

Coincidentally, Leland and Evergreen Valley will both be playing California the next time they take the court. The Chargers will head out to face the Grizzlies at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
