Basketball Game Preview: Cuba Rams vs. Bloomfield Bobcats

Cuba is 0-4 against Bloomfield since January of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Cuba Rams will look to defend their home court against the Bloomfield Bobcats at 6:30 p.m.

Cuba easily dispatched Pine Hill on Saturday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Cuba fell just short of Dulce by a score of 38-36 on Monday.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was LaDanian Wilson, who posted eight points and six rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Dylan Sandoval was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Bloomfield duked it out withTohatchi on Wednesday. Bloomfield came out on top against Tohatchi by a score of 59-48.

Bloomfield now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cuba, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Cuba took a serious blow against Bloomfield in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 64-36. Thankfully for Cuba, Andrew Florez (who put up 21 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
