Flag Football Recap: Valley View Comes Up Short

Valley View and Azusa squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Valley View had to settle for second. They fell 7-0 to the Aztecs. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

This is the second loss in a row for Valley View and nudges their season record down to 9-11. As for Azusa, their win bumped their record up to 12-6-1.

Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Azusa, they will face off against Don Lugo at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Aztecs 9.5, the Conquistadores 11.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
