Bandera is a perfect 6-0 against Uvalde since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The BULLDOGS will be taking part in a tournament against the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) at 9:00 a.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bandera gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Pearsall with a sharp 3-0 win. The BULLDOGS not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Taytum Moeller, who had 16 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyra Blake, who had six assists and four aces.

Bandera was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Uvalde had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lytle, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) have posted since August 15, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (103-101) Uvalde actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 16-25, 20-25, 25-22, 25-23, 15-8.
