Softball Game Preview: San Lorenzo Valley Cougars vs. North Monterey County Condors

The San Lorenzo Valley Cougars will head out to face off against the North Monterey County Condors at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Monterey County took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on San Lorenzo Valley, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row dating back to last season, San Lorenzo Valley turned things around against Santa Teresa on Saturday. They came out on top against the Saints by a score of 13-10.

Meanwhile, North Monterey County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Scotts Valley, falling 16-2.

Samantha Scharton was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

North Monterey County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for San Lorenzo Valley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
