Baseball Recap: Center Takes a Loss

Center lost against Oakmont back in March of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars fell 7-2 to the Vikings. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Center saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ruben Lopez-Aguilar, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Center now has a losing record of 10-11-1. As for Oakmont, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-5.

Looking ahead, Center will be playing in front of their home fans against Leroy Greene Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. Oakmont will be paying especially close attention to Center's match: after Center faces off against Leroy Greene Academy, they'll take on Oakmont again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
