Softball Recap: Taft School Sets Scoring Season-High Against Greens Farms Academy

Taft School scored the most runs they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greens Farms Academy Dragons. The loss leaves the Big Red still looking for their first win of the season.

Taft School saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Julianna Picard, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That double marked the first that Picard has hit this season.

Taft School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Greens Farms Academy, they moved to 2-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Taft School will take on Choate Rosemary Hall School at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wild Boars' pitching crew has only allowed 1.4 runs per game this season, so the Big Red's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Greens Farms Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
