Baseball Recap: Hinsdale South Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Hinsdale South finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They came up short against the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost three in a row.

Hinsdale South's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hinsdale South will square off against Addison Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they will challenge Hinsdale Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
