Preview: Florence Township Memorial vs. Riverside
Riverside (1-8) has a chance to get its first conference win this week when it squares off against Florence Township Memorial (4-5) on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Riverside has a victory under its belt but has never won back-to-back; of course, Florence Township Memorial will be hoping to keep it that way.
It has taken nine games to get there, but Riverside has finally bested an opponent on the road. It scooted by Highland Park two weeks ago with a score of 42 - 22. Riverside's offense might have been extra motivated to turn things around after difficulties scoring in its previous game. Meanwhile, Florence Township Memorial lost to Bound Brook by a decisive 40 - 24 scoreline two weeks ago.
The last time they met, Florence Township Memorial hopped past Riverside 30 - 12. Will Florence Township Memorial come out on top again? We'll soon find out.
