Volleyball Recap: Bruce Comes Up Short

Bruce lost against Chequamegon back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Red Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Screaming Eagles. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Bruce had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19.

Bruce's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Chequamegon, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 12-12 record.

Coincidentally, Bruce and Chequamegon will both be playing Prentice the next time they take the court. The Red Raiders will host the Buccaneers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Screaming Eagles will play them later in the day, at 12:20 p.m.
