Baseball Recap: Fayette Takes a Loss

Fayette lost against Russellville back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons fell 4-1 to the Indians.

Fayette's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Russellville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fayette will welcome Paris at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Russellville, they will take on St. Elizabeth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
