Volleyball Recap: Oswego East Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Oswego East and Benet Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Oswego East had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Redwings.

Tyler Vlcek paced Oswego East's offense, picking up seven kills. Vlcek got some help from Max Coleman and his nine assists.

Oswego East has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-18 record this season. As for Benet Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 23 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season.

Oswego East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Benet Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Oswego on the 29th.
