Volleyball Game Preview: Pen Argyl Green Knights vs. Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars

The Pen Argyl Green Knights will square off against the Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pen Argyl will be strutting in after a win while Lehigh Valley Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Pen Argyl turned things around against East Stroudsburg North on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Timberwolves with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Pen Argyl never let East Stroudsburg North on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-11, 28-26.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lehigh Valley Academy challenged Bethlehem Christian back in September. The Jaguars lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-20.

Lehigh Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Pen Argyl, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.

Everything went Pen Argyl's way against Lehigh Valley Academy in their previous meeting back in September, as Pen Argyl made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Green Knights repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
