Recap: River Valley Vikings vs. Clear Fork Colts
The River Valley Vikings came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 49-45 win over Clear Fork. That result was just more of the same for these two, as River Valley also won the last time the pair played back in January.
River Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Halle Snyder out in front who scored eight points along with 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lexie Hecker, who scored 12 points along with two steals and two blocks.
River Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Clear Fork, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6.
River Valley will take on Delaware Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully River Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Thursday. As for Clear Fork, they will head out on the road to square off against West Holmes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Holmes is coming into the matchup with three straight victories at home, so Clear Fork is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
