Football Recap: Ouachita Christian Starts Season with Victory at Home

Ouachita Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Caldwell Parish Spartans 60-14. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Spartans are ranked 190th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ouachita Christian will welcome General Trass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Caldwell Parish, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Winnfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
