Volleyball Recap: Piedmont Takes a Loss

Piedmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Berkeley Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-20, 25-11.

Piedmont's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Berkeley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-11.

Coincidentally, Piedmont and Berkeley will both be playing Castro Valley the next time they take the court. The Highlanders will host the Trojans at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Yellowjackets will head out to face them at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
