After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Wickenburg finally came back down to earth on Monday. They fell just short of the Chandler Prep Titans by a score of 1-0. The Wranglers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Wickenburg saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zane Echols, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Wickenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Chandler Prep, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wickenburg will challenge Mohave Accelerated at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Chandler Prep, they will face off against North Valley Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
