A well-balanced attack led Mill Creek over Central Gwinnett in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Hawks blew the Black Knights out of the water with a 45-6 final score. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Black Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Jayde Beasley had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 45 yards and three TDs. CJ Cardona also helped with two scores in total.

Another reason for the win was Mill Creek's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Central Gwinnett's QB won't forget Braxton Rembert anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

Mill Creek's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Central Gwinnett, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mill Creek will take on Dacula at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Gwinnett, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on October 9.
