Soccer Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

After flying high against Savanna on Monday, Magnolia came back down to earth. The Sentinels fell 2-0 to the Anaheim Colonists on Wednesday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Magnolia couldn't quite close it out.

Magnolia's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 0-1-3 and their overall record down to 5-4-3. As for Anaheim, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-0-2 and their overall record up to 5-7-7.

Coincidentally, Magnolia and Anaheim will both be playing Los Amigos the next time they take the pitch. The Sentinels will head out to face the Lobos at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Colonists will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
