Soccer Recap: Lake Mary Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against First Baptist Christian Academy last Tuesday, Lake Mary Prep came back down to earth. The Lake Mary Prep Griffins lost 8-0 to the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs on Thursday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Griffins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 back in November.

Lake Mary Prep's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Mount Dora Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Mary Prep will host Altamonte Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lake Mary Prep is facing Altamonte Christian at the right time seeing as Altamonte Christian is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. Mount Dora Christian Academy will take on Central Florida Christian Academy in a holiday battle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday at. Mount Dora Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
