Cherokee beats Millville for their third straight win

Recap: Cherokee Chiefs vs. Millville Thunderbolts
On Friday, The Cherokee Chiefs faced the Millville Thunderbolts in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Cherokee was the victim of a tough 41-17 loss at the hands of Millville. Winning may never get old, but Cherokee sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Ryan Bender threw for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Luke Brown was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Murad Campfield rushed for 26 yards.
Cherokee's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Millville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.
Cherokee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Millville is also done with their season.
