While Lincoln County put up some runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Wayne. The Panthers put the hurt on the Pioneers with a sharp 7-0 victory. Give the Panthers' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

The team relied heavily on Grady Adkins, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Lincoln County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.
