Natchitoches Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Brusly Panthers on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Chiefs sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Natchitoches Central's win bumped their record up to 33-4. As for Brusly, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 21-12 record.

Natchitoches Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
