Baseball Game Preview: South Side Rams vs. Carlynton Cougars

For the second straight game, South Side will face off against Carlynton. The Rams will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Cougars at 4:30 p.m.

South Side is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Carlynton with a sharp 20-7 win on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Wyatt Vogel looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Andrew Corfield was incredible, going 1-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew MAdejA, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI and two runs.

Carlynton is on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14. As for South Side, their win bumped their record up to 7-5-1.
