Softball Recap: Pearsall Wins Going Away Against Saint Mary's Hall

Pearsall got themselves on the board against Saint Mary's Hall on Thursday, but Saint Mary's Hall never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Saint Mary's Hall Barons with a sharp 6-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mavericks, who have now won three matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Alayna Zapata was incredible, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Jesslyn Gutierrez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

The win got Pearsall back to even at 3-3. As for Saint Mary's Hall, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Pearsall wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-4 draw against Lytle on the 14th. As for Saint Mary's Hall, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Winn on the 14th.
