Basketball Recap: Comfort Takes a Loss

Comfort lost against Brady back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Comfort Bobcats/Deer took a 37-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brady Bulldogs. The Bobcats/Deer just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Aiva Farris had an outrageously good game for Brady as she dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. That's the most rebounds Farris has posted since back in January of 2024. Vanessa Kidd was another key player, putting up four points and three steals.

Comfort's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Brady, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-18 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Comfort will venture away from home to face off against Florence at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Comfort is facing Florence at the right time seeing as Florence is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Brady, they will head out on the road to challenge Llano at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Llano will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Brady surely won't give up without a fight.
