Volleyball Game Preview: Higley Knights vs. Perry Pumas

The Higley Knights will square off against the Perry Pumas at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Higley comes in on five and Perry on 13.

Higley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Chandler, who was ranked eighth at the time (Higley was ranked fourth). The Knights came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Perry made easy work of Williams Field on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-17.

Perry's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 40-4. As for Higley, their record is now 33-7-2.

Higley couldn't quite get it done against Perry when the teams last played back in April as they fell 2-0. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
