McCall-Donnelly has no trouble against Homedale

The McCall-Donnelly Vandals won the last time they faced the Homedale Trojans, and things went their way on Friday too. McCall-Donnelly enjoyed a cozy 51-32 victory over Homedale.

Among those leading the charge was Gabi Green, who scored 20 points. She hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Izzy Tinney was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

When it comes to explaining why Homedale lost, one person who can't be blamed is Olivia Asumendi. Despite the final result, she scored 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tiana Sorenson, who scored seven points along with two blocks.

McCall-Donnelly has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Homedale, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

McCall-Donnelly won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Parma at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. Parma is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. Homedale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
