Volleyball Recap: Lamar Consolidated's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

If Tomas wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lamar Consolidated, they should've done a better job of containing De Los Santos T-anna. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Gators with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday for which the team can thank T-anna, who had 17 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The win (which was Lamar Consolidated's third in a row) raised their record to 19-7. As for Tomas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-29 record this season.

Lamar Consolidated will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Bend Kempner at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tomas, they will head out to square off against Victoria West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
