Baseball Recap: Beach Channel's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Beach Channel has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.4 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came up short against the Academy of American Studies Eagles, falling 12-1. The Dolphins were red-hot at the plate heading into the match (they scored no less than ten runs in the four contests prior), but the Eagles' pitchers proved too tough.

Having lost for the first time this season, Beach Channel fell to 4-1. As for Academy of American Studies, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Coincidentally, Beach Channel and Academy of American Studies will both be playing Flushing the next time they take the field. The Dolphins will head out to face the Red Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Eagles will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
