Baseball Recap: Marion County Gets the Win

While Marion County's win against Wellsville-Middletown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs skirted past the Tigers 11-10. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers on Tuesday, too.

Marion County's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Wellsville-Middletown, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion County will face off against Green City at 5:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Wellsville-Middletown, they will welcome North Callaway at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Thunderbirds will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
