Canyon View extended their home winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Bethanee Vargas. The Canyon View Falcons walked away with a 45-37 victory over the South Summit Wildcats on Tuesday thanks in part to Vargas, who shot 70% from the field on her way to 16 points and eight steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Canyon View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points over those games. South Summit moved to 18-8 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Canyon View has already played their next matchup, a 47-41 win against Emery on the 26th. As for South Summit, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-38 loss against Grantsville on the 26th.
