Volleyball Recap: Wilson Takes a Loss

Wilson lost against Independence back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. While the Wildcats didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-21 in the first set.

Wilson took Independence into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-23, 25-19, 24-26, 15-9.

Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Independence, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Wilson will challenge Midway at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Independence, they will welcome Panther Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
