Volleyball Recap: Norland Has No Trouble Against Killian

Norland won the last time they faced Killian and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Norland Vikings blew past the Killian Cougars 3-0.

One reason for the win was Norland's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14, 25-13.

Brandon Hamilton paced Norland's offense, picking up seven kills. Hamilton got some help from David Thomas and his eight assists. Hamilton was also solid from the service line: he led the team with seven aces.

Norland's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Killian, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Norland will challenge Coral Park at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Killian and North Miami will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 4:00 p.m. on April 1st.
