Soccer Game Preview: Lutheran vs. Westminster Christian

Lutheran hasn't had much luck against Westminster Christian recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Cougars will host the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lutheran's offense. They lost 4-0 to Duchesne on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Westminster Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Howell North, falling 7-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Westminster Christian were already down 4-0.

Westminster Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3-1.

Lutheran suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Westminster Christian in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
