Softball Recap: St. Marys Bears vs. Santa Fe Trail Chargers

St. Marys extended their losing streak to six on Friday, dropping them down to 1-15. They lost 9-0 to the Santa Fe Trail Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Friday.

St. Marys saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mandy Kincaid, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Charlie Cailteux also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

As for Santa Fe Trail, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games.
