Football Game Preview: American Eagles vs. Encinal Jets + Official Tickets

The American Eagles will head out to face off against the Encinal Jets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. American has given up an average of 31.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

American blew San Lorenzo out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday San Lorenzo got their revenge. The Eagles fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 42-40. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Marvin Boone, who threw for 128 yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in a pair of TDs on the ground. Nasir Adams was Boone's top target, picking up 50 receiving yards and three scores.

Meanwhile, Encinal fell victim to Arroyo and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Dons, falling 48-0. The loss continues a trend for the Jets in their meetings with the Dons: they've now lost three in a row.

American's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Encinal, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

American took a serious blow against Encinal when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 63-0. Thankfully for the Eagles, Alexander Marston (who rushed for 227 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
