Basketball Recap: Moberly Gets the Win

Moberly's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Centralia Panthers by a score of 57-48. While the Spartans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Moberly's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Centralia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Moberly will be playing at home against Hallsville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centralia, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Centralia Panthers take on the Bowling Green Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bowling Green will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Centralia surely won't give up without a fight.
