Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oxford Hills). They blew past the Mt. Blue Cougars, posting a 78-21 win. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Cougars are ranked 91st), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oxford Hills' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Mt. Blue, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oxford Hills will face off against Lewiston at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Blue, they will challenge Messalonskee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
