Lone Peak extends road winning streak to nine

Recap: Lone Peak Knights vs. Pleasant Grove Vikings

The Lone Peak Knights can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They blew past Pleasant Grove 71-46. The win was just what Lone Peak needed coming off of a 63-39 defeat in their prior game.

Lone Peak's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shawnee Nordstrom, who scored 21 points along with nine steals and six rebounds. Sarah Bartholomew was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.

Lone Peak's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-6. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.67 points. As for Pleasant Grove, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.

Lone Peak will take on Skyridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Skyridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Pleasant Grove, they will head out on the road to take on American Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
