Basketball Recap: Pattonville Comes Up Short

Pattonville was the 47-33 winner over Parkway West when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pattonville Pirates lost to the Parkway West Longhorns on the road by a 47-33 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while the Longhorns are ranked 30th).

Pattonville has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Parkway West, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Pattonville will take on Eureka at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkway West, they will square off against Visitation Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
