Basketball Game Preview: Linn Bulldogs vs. Pawnee City Indians

The Linn Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Pawnee City Indians at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Linn will be strutting in after a win while Pawnee City will be coming in after a defeat.

Linn will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Valley Heights, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Linn came out on top against Valley Heights by a score of 50-43 on Tuesday. 50 seems to be a good number for the Bulldogs as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Meanwhile, Pawnee City came up short against Exeter-Milligan/Friend on Friday and fell 63-51. The Indians have struggled against the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The win made it two in a row for Linn and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Pawnee City, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

Linn came up short against Pawnee City in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 52-48. Can Linn avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
