Softball Preview: Random Lake Rams vs. Mishicot Indians

The Random Lake Rams will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Mishicot Indians at 5:00 p.m. The pair have allowed few runs on average, (Random Lake: 3.5, Mishicot: 0.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Cora Stodola made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Stodola has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive pitching appearances. Stodola was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Mishicot got a massive performance out of Katelyn Callahan, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. Random Lake's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for Mishicot, they pushed their record up to 22-0 with that win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season.
