Garden Plain came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Winfield Vikings by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Owls also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Reese Stuhlsatz paced Garden Plain's offense, picking up six kills. Stuhlsatz got some help from Jaicey Stuhlsatz and her 17 assists. Lylah Zoglman controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Garden Plain's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Winfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-1 record this season.

Garden Plain has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Kansas City Christian School on the 27th. As for Winfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Douglass on the 27th.
