Game recap: Thomas Worthington High School Football Team bests Eastmoor Academy

WORTHINGTON, Ohio - Thomas Worthington (Worthington, Ohio) had a comfortable lead entering the fourth quarter, but used seven fourth quarter points to seal the 35-12 victory over Eastmoor Academy (Columbus, Ohio).

After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the CARDINALS led 14-6 at the half.

Thomas Worthington expanded its lead to 16 points entering the fourth quarter. TW scored two times in the third, including once on a Tony Harvard touchdown run.

The victory was a step in the right direction for the Worthington school, which was coming off a 44-7 defeat at the hands of Worthington Kilbourne in its previous game.
