Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Argenta-Oreana walked away with it. They never let the Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Wednesday. The Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

MJ Hall made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. Argenta-Oreana is 5-1 when Hall posts ten or more strikeouts, but 9-10 otherwise. Hall was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lian Tipsword, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ashton Sample, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs.

Argenta-Oreana's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.

As of now, neither Argenta-Oreana nor the Broncos have any future games scheduled.
