Basketball Recap: Berean Academy Takes a Loss

Berean Academy lost against Hixson back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles were dealt a 57-8 defeat at the hands of the Wildcats.

Kahlia Collier was the offensive standout of the game as she posted 14 points. Andrea Collier was another key player, putting up ten points.

Berean Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hixson, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Berean Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mount Pisgah Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2026. As for Hixson, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-12 win against Chattanooga Central on the 5th.
