Basketball Recap: Mountainside Takes a Loss

Mountainside lost against Jesuit back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mountainside Mavericks came up short against the Jesuit Crusaders, falling 67-46. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountainside's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Jesuit, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountainside will head out to face off against Sunset at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jesuit, they are taking a road trip to square off against Aloha at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jesuit is facing Aloha at the right time seeing as Aloha is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
