Football Recap: Rich Township Comes Up Short

Rich Township was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Hillcrest Hawks, falling 26-6. If the Raptors were looking for revenge after losing 36-32 to the Hawks when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Rich Township's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Hillcrest, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rich Township is set to take on their familiar foe Bloom at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hillcrest will challenge rival Reavis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
